Volleyball To Hold Inaugural Alumni Match on April 27

TEMPE, Ariz. - The Arizona State University volleyball team will hold their inaugural Alumni Match on April 27 at 7 p.m., head coach Brad Saindon announced today. The event, which will pit the current Sun Devils vs. an alumni team, will be held at Wells Fargo Arena.

The two squads will face each other in a best two out of three format. Nicole Morton and Tierra Burnley, seniors on the 2006 team that advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, will lead the alumni team, which will be coached by former head coach Patti Snyder-Park. Former head coach Dale Flickinger is also scheduled to be in attendance.

Following the Alumni Match, a reception for the fans will be held at Macayo's Depot Cantina on Ash. Fans are invited to join the team and alumni at 9 p.m. at Macayo's. Other alumni scheduled to participate are Amanda Burbridge, Giovana Melo and Christine Garner.
