Bears Fall in Final Four of Pac-10 Championships

OJAI - California's last representatives in the 2007 Pac-10 Championships lost on Saturday in singles and doubles. Junior Pierre Mouillon fell in the final four of the singles main draw, while senior Daniel Sebescen lost in the invitational draw. The two lost in their doubles invitational final-four match.
Mouillon lost in straight sets to Stanford's Matt Bruch, 6-4, 6-2. Unfortunately for Mouillon, he wasn't able to pick up a win in his other match on Saturday. Teaming with Sebescen in the doubles invitational draw, the duo fell to Stanford's Erick McKean and Dave Ryan, 8-6.
In his singles match, Sebescen lost to Derek Drabble from Washington. After losing a close first set, 7-6, Sebescen came back to take the second, 6-2. In the third set, the Golden Bear was unable to come away with the victory, as Drabble won 6-2.
Cal now plays the waiting game as it hopes to receive a bid into the NCAA regionals. The Bears will find out Tuesday, May 1, at 11:30 a.m.
