WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - UCLA sophomore rower Vanessa Teff has captured All-Pacific-10 Conference Team honors for the second time in her career, the conference announced Wednesday. Teff has helped lead the Bruins to their third-consecutive varsity eight appearance in the NCAA Championships.

Teff, a CRCA Pocock second-team All-America selection one year ago, stroked the Bruins' varsity eight crew to a fourth-place finish in the Grand Final at the Pac-10 Championships on Sunday, May 13. The Bruins' varsity eight boat posted a time of 6 minutes, 48.64 seconds at the conference championships.

The Middleton, Wis., resident was also a part of UCLA's varsity eight crew which captured victories in dual-meet competition against Loyola Marymount and San Diego State. The Bruins' varsity eight finished fourth in the Grand Final of the San Diego Crew Classic.

UCLA earned one of just four at-large varsity eight berths in the 2007 NCAA Championships. The Bruins' 13th-ranked varsity eight will compete this weekend in the NCAA Championships in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
