Stanford Completes Series Sweep With 10-5 Win Over USC

LOS ANGELES -- Michael Taylor went 2-for-6 with four RBI, including a bases-loaded double in the second, as the Stanford Cardinal completed a Pac-10 series sweep with a 10-5 victory over the USC Trojans at Dedeaux Field.

The Cardinal scored two runs in the first and three in the second for an early 5-0 lead.

Stanford finishes the 2007 season with a 28-28 record, 9-15 in the Pac-10 Conference while USC finishes with a 27-29 mark, 8-16 in conference play.

Brent Milleville went 4-for-5 with a home run and two RBI for the Cardinal while Cord Phelps and Toby Gerhart had three hits each.

Freshman Mike O'Neill and senior J.J. Owen had two RBI each for the Trojans.

Third baseman Hector Estrella had two hits in his final game as a Trojan.
