Six Men's Players Earn All-Pac-10 Academic Honors

LOS ANGELES - Leading the conference with three first-team selections, the UCLA men's tennis team had a total of six players earn All-Pac-10 Academic honors on Friday. The first-team honorees were Juniors Mathieu Dehaine and Jeremy Drean, along with sophomore Michael Look.

Drean, from Rennes, France, owns a 3.82 cumulative grade point average and is majoring in Business-Economics. He played No. 3 doubles for the Bruins in 2007, teaming with Dehaine to post a 20-11 overall record. Dehaine, who also hails from France (Meudon) and is majoring in Business-Economics, owns a 3.78 GPA. In addition to doubles, he played No. 5 singles for the Bruins this past season, going 25-9 overall.

Look, from Redcliffe, Australia, has yet to declare a major but owns a 3.87 GPA. He played No. 6 singles for the Bruins in 2007, going 24-9.

Rounding out the group are honorable mention selections Benjamin Kohlloeffel (Herne, Germany), Chris Surapol (Whittier, Calif.) and Philipp Gruendler (Weil Am Rhein, Germany).
