Stanford Has Seven On Pac-10 All-Academic Teams

Walnut Creek, Calif. - Seven members of the Stanford women's rowing team have been named to the Pac-10's 2007 Women's Rowing All-Academic Team with four earning First Team honors, one being selected to the Second Team and two picking up Honorable Mention recognition.

Jen Brown (3.73 GPA, Psychology), Steph Connolly (3.50 GPA, Human Biology), Lauren Hofmayer (3.57 GPA, Undeclared) and Jessi Reel (3.59 GPA, Art) were the First Team selections from Stanford.

Carly York (3.18 GPA, Geological & Environmental Science) picked up Second Team honors.

Kathy Altman (3.21 GPA, Undeclared) and Kerry Birk (3.01 GPA, International Relations) were Honorable Mention choices.

To be eligible for selection, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average and be either a starter of significant substitute.
