UCLA's John Savage Prepares Bruins for First Super Regional Since 2000

UCLA baseball head coach John Savage has helped lead the Bruins to their first NCAA Super Regional appearance since 2000. UCLA plays at Cal State Fullerton, beginning Saturday, June 9, in a best-of-three series.
Saturday's Super Regional contest, slated for 4 p.m. PST, can be viewed live on ESPN. Games on Sunday (7 p.m., PST) and Monday (4 p.m., PST, if necessary) will be aired live on ESPN2. Dave Cohen and Robin Ventura will have the call each day, live from Goodwin Field.
The Bruins opened their season with a 8-14 record before turning the year around with a 14-run eighth inning to defeat Pacific, 15-8, on Sunday, March 25. UCLA has won 25 of its last 37 games, including last weekend's three-game sweep at the Long Beach Regional.
