Freshman Danielle Watson placed second in the long jump competition at the USATF Junior National Championships in Indianapolis, IN, earning her a chance at a spot on Team USA for the PanAm Junior Games.
Watson finished in the runner-up position with a mark of 19-10.25. The first-place finisher might decide to focus solely on the hurdles, and could vacate her spot to Watson for the PanAm Games.
