AUSTIN, TEXAS - The University of California junior outside hitter Angie Pressey was selected to the six member USA Volleyball Open All-Tournament team, and helped her USA Red Squad to a second-place finish, at the 2007 USA Volleyball Adult Open Championship May 26-June 2 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas.

Pressey, a 5-8 standout from Heathrow, Fla., was a 2006 second-team AVCA All-American, an All-Pacific Region member and a first-team All-Pac-10 selection last fall, leading the Bears with 487 kills. She was also the Co-MVP of the Cal Molten Classic and the MVP of the Golden Bear Invitational. Pressey is currently sixth on the Bears' all-time kill list with 1,262 kills in three seasons.

The Bears defeated LSU and Cal Poly, 3-1, in the NCAA first and second rounds, before falling to Stanford, 3-0, in the NCAA Regional in Austin, Texas. Cal's 2007 schedule is available on CalBears.com.
