Stanford Swimmers Compete At Santa Clara International Invitational

Several Stanford swimmers competed in today's finals at the Santa Clara International Invitational. The competition is being held Thursday-Sunday, June 28-July 1.
Paul Zaich swam to a 13th place finish overall finish (third in the B Final) in the 100 breaststroke. He posted a time of 1:04.56 to earn seven points for the Stanford team. Nate Cass recorded a 19th place finish overall (first in the C Final) with his time of 1:03.55.
In the 200 freestyle, Andy Grant earned a 14th place finish (fifth in the B Final). His time of 1:51.80 was good enough to earn five team points. Ben Wildman-Tobriner finished 22nd overall in the event (fourth in the C Final), as he posted a time of 1:53.63.
Jason Dunford swam to a 19th place finish (first in the C Final) in the 200 butterfly with his time of 2:04.06.
The Stanford Swimming team is currently tied for 26th place with 12 points.
Competition for the men continues tomorrow beginning with 100 fly prelims.
