Cross Country Announces 2007 Competition Schedule

Eric Peterson and the UCLA cross country teams have announced their competition schedule for the 2007 season. There are nine meets on the schedule as the teams will travel to Nevada, Oregon and Indiana for the bigger meets.
The Bruins will open up the season on August 31 at the Nevada Twilight Cross Country Classic in Reno. They will then take several weeks off before returning to competition locally at the Pepperdine Invitational on September 22.
The Pepperdine Invite will begin a string of six straight competitions for the Bruins. The next stop on the schedule will be to Eugene, OR for the Bill Dellinger Invite on Friday, September 28th. They will return to Southern California for the Triton Invite in La Jolla, CA on October 6th before heading to the site of the NCAA Championships (Terre Haute, IN) on October 13th for the Pre-National Invite. A trip to Orange County and the Fullerton Invite on October 19th will be the final tune-up before the Pac-10 Championships, this year hosted by Oregon State on October 27th.
The Bruins will return to the state of Oregon on November 13th for the West Region Championships in Eugene and then travel to Terre Haute, IN on November 22nd for the NCAA Championships.
