Two Trojans Named To Cape Cod League All-Star Teams

LOS ANGELES -- Sophomore right-hander Brad Boxberger and sophomore catcher/right-handed pitcher Robert Stock have been selected to the 2007 Cape Cod Baseball League All-Star Game. Boxberger will be a reserve for the East Division while Stock will play for the West Division on July 28th at Wareham's Spillane Field.

Boxberger is 1-0 with a 1.38 ERA (among the league leaders) with 22 strikeouts for the Orleans Cardinals. Stock is batting .261 with three home runs and 15 RBI for the Cotuit Kettleers. He is also pitching and is 0-1 with a 7.88 ERA and three saves.

The Cape Cod Baseball League is recognized as the top summer collegiate league with a total of six Trojans currently playing this summer: Boxberger, Stock, Grant Green, Kevin Couture, Tommy Milone and Ryan Cook.
