ASU Women's Golfers Earn U.S. Amateur Exemptions

Carmel, Ind. - Arizona State University women's golfers Azahara Munoz and Jennifer Osborn have both earned exemptions to play in the 2007 U.S. Women's Amateur. The 2007 U.S. Women's Amateur will be held Aug. 6-12 at the Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Ind.

Osborn and Munoz, both juniors, helped Arizona State win their first Pac-10 Championship in eleven years. Osborn was named an NGCA first-team All-American while Munoz earned second-team honors. Munoz and Osborn were also named to the All Pac-10 first team.

Past Sun Devil U.S. Amateur champions include: Grace Park, Pearl Sinn and Wendy Ward.
