Stanford Swimmers Turn In Solid Performances On Third Day Of Summer Senior Nationals

The third day of competition at the 2007 ConocoPhillips USA Swimming National Championships concluded Thursday evening with two Stanford affiliates turning in solid performances in the finals.
In the 100 meter butterfly, Dana Kirk took ninth place overall, first in the B-Final, as she recorded a time of 59.43. Teammate Laura Wadden earned a 20th place overall finish, third in the C-Final, with her time of 1:01.17. Rachel Komisarz (Lakeside Swim Team) captured the title as she finished in a time of 58.04 to win the gold.
