Wildman-Tobriner Claims Silver On Third Day Of Summer Senior Nationals

The third day of competition at the 2007 ConocoPhillips USA Swimming National Championships concluded last night in Indianapolis, Ind. The day yielded the first medal for a Stanford men's affiliate as Ben Wildman-Tobriner claimed silver in the 100 butterfly.
Wildman-Tobriner swam to a second place finish in the 100 meter butterfly, touching the wall in a time of 52.31. His medal was the first won thus far by a Stanford men's swimmer. Michael Phelps (Club Wolverine) took the top spot as he posted a winning time of 51.39, while Davis Tarwater (Club Wolverine) rounded out the top three in 52.93.
