Brooke Bishop And Elaine Breeden Begin World University Games Friday

Bangkok, Thailand - Stanford women's swimmers Brooke Bishop and Elaine Breeden are scheduled to compete at the 2007 World University Games. The long-course meters event is being held at Aquatic Stadium this Thursday-Tuesday, September 9-14. Bishop is slated to participate in the 50 free, as well as the 50 and 100 back. Breeden is swimming the 50, 100 and 200 fly.

Both swimmers are scheduled to begin their respective meets on Friday, August 10. Bishop starts with the heats of the 100 free and 50 back, while Breeden's first event of the meet is the 100 fly heats. Friday's heats begin at 9:30 am, Bangkok time.
