Wildman-Tobriner, Cass Represent Stanford On Podium At 2007 Summer Senior Nationals

The final day of competition at the 2007 ConcoPhillips USA Swimming National Championships saw two Stanford swimmers capture medals, and on earn a national championship. Ben Wildman-Tobriner and Andy Grant represented Stanford on the podium on the last day of competition.
Ben Wildman-Tobriner claimed the 50 meter freestyle national championship in a very exciting finish as he swam to a time of 21.80. Wildman-Tobriner edged out Cullen Jones (NC State Aquatics) who earned the silver in a time of 21.82. Stanford affiliates Alex Coville (22.55) and Andy Grant (23.22) finished in seventh and 19th place, respectively.
In the 200 meter IM, Nate Cass earned a bronze medal as he touched the wall with a third place time of 2:02.09. Ryan Lochte (Daytona Beach Swimming) finished in the top spot with a time of 1:56.95.
