Tangtiphaiboontana Tied For Sixth At World University Games

STANFORD, Calif.- The U.S. women's golf team moved up two more spots after the third round at the World University Games and are currently in fourth place with a team score of 457.
Former Cardinal standout Jennifer Tangtiphaiboontana is tied for sixth with a total of 228 (83-71-74). Teammate Mary Jacobs checks in eighth (229) while Selaneé Henderson is in 45th place with a three-day total of 260.
Ireland leads the women's team competition with a three-day total of 447 and on the men's side, Japan (647) holds a three-shot lead over Thailand to top the field. The U.S. men are in sixth place with a three round total of 659.
The USA women will be back on the course tomorrow morning for the fourth and final round. Tee times for the women begin at 7:40 a.m. and the team will be playing with Chinese Taipei and Japan. The men will tee off starting at 11:30 a.m. with Great Britain and Chinese Taipei.
