Training Camp Hits The Halfway Mark

Stanford, Calif. - The Stanford Football team hit the halfway mark of training camp on Wednesday as the Cardinal practiced for the 10th straight day with a pair of workouts the Elliott Football Practice Fields. The practices were the 12th and 13th of the 25 sessions scheduled before training camp breaks on August 25. The Cardinal players will get one day off on August 26 before going back to work the next day in preparation for the season-opener versus UCLA at Stanford Stadium on Saturday, September 1 (12:30 pm, PT) in a game to be televised by FOX Sports Net.

Stanford returns to the practice field on Thursday for a workout that gets underway at 2:40 pm, PT. Thursday's workout is open to the public and free of charge.
