Dana Kirk Swims In 100 Free At 2007 Japan International Swim Meet

Chiba, Japan - Former Stanford women's swimmer Dana Kirk (2002-06) participated in the prelims of the 100 free Wednesday at the long-course meters 2007 Japan International Swim Meet being held at the Chiba International General Swimming Center. Kirk was 41st in the prelims of the event in a time of 59.85.

Kirk and her sister, Tara Kirk, are the two Stanford women's swimming affiliates participating in the four-day meet that continues through Friday, August 24, 2007. Tara took the bronze medal in the 1000 breast on the opening day of the meet Tuesday.
