Randall Bal Takes 100 Back Silver At 2007 Japan International Swim Meet

Chiba, Japan - Former Stanford men's swimmer Randall Bal (1999-2003) took a silver medal in the 100 back Wednesday at the long-course meters 2007 Japan International Swim Meet being held at the Chiba International General Swimming Center. Bal clocked a time of 53.91 in the finals to finish behind only winner Liam Tancock of Great Britain (53.46).

Incoming 2007-08 freshman John Criste placed 16th in the prelims of the 400 IM with a time of 4:29.89 but not compete in the B finals the mark qualified him for.
