Stanford Wraps Up Double Days Wednesday; Looking Forward To Thursday's Scrimmage

Stanford, Calif. - Stanford wrapped up its two-a-day sessions of 2007 training camp with a pair of workouts on Wednesday at the Elliott Football Practice Fields. The Cardinal will conduct a closed scrimmage on Thursday at Stanford Stadium beginning at 11:45 am, PT.

The team is near the end of its 20-day 2007 camp with the final two workouts before camp breaks scheduled for Friday and Saturday at the Elliott Football Practice Fields. The Friday and Saturday practices are open to the public and free of charge.

The Cardinal players will enjoy their first day off in nearly three weeks on Sunday before returning to the practice fields Monday to continue preparation for the 2007 season-opener versus UCLA at Stanford Stadium on Saturday, September 1 (12:30 pm, PT) in a game to be televised live nationally by FOX Sports Net.
