Bal On Silver Medal 400 Relay Team At 2007 Japan International Swim Meet

Chiba, Japan - Former Stanford swimmer Randall Bal picked up his second silver medal of the long-course meters 2007 Japan International Swim Meet on Friday when he swam the leadoff 100 back leg of the United States' 400 medley relay squad that finished second in a time of 3:35.18. Host Japan was the winner of the event on the final day of the meet that was held at the Chiba International General Swimming Center.
Bal had previously won a silver medal in the 100 back on Wednesday.
Incoming 2007-08 Stanford freshman John Cristie was 27th in the prelims of the 200 IM with a time of 2:10.92.
