Berkeley - In an effort to promote the tradition and spirit of college football, Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC) is encouraging fans, students and alumni to show their school pride by wearing their team's colors throughout the day on Friday, in a promotion dubbed 'College Colors Day.'
Cal fans are encouraged to wear their blue and gold tomorrow and on Saturday for game day.

'College Colors Day has been embraced by organizations, businesses, state governments, and most importantly, colleges and universities from across the country,' said Pat Battle, president and CEO for the Collegiate Licensing Company.
CLC is the licensing representative for more than 200 colleges, universities, bowl games, athletic conferences, BCS (Bowl Championship Series), The Heisman Trophy, and the NCAA.
