ASU Baseball Well Represented In Rivals.Com Top Returners Feature

TEMPE, Ariz. - previewed the top returning baseball players in the nation, and Arizona State baseball was well represented on each list.

Senior LHP Josh Satow was named the #6 returning senior in the country by Rivals. Satow went 13-3 with a 2.76 ERA for the 2007 Pac-10 Champs, earning All-Pac-10 honors.

Sophomore RHP Mike Leake was tabbed the #4 returning sophomore, thanks to his stellar debut season in Tempe. Leake tied with Satow for the Pac-10 lead with 13 wins, and set an ASU freshman record with 94 strikeouts in 127 innings.

Junior 1B/3B Brett Wallace was rated as the top returning junior in the country, thanks to his Pac-10 Player of the Year performance in 2007. Wallace won the Pac-10 Triple Crown, hitting .404 with 16 homers and 78 RBI. He was a consensus First Team All-American and helped lead the Devils to their 20th all-time appearance in the College World Series and a 4th place finish.
