Sophomore Belen Mozo finished a team-best tied for 10th while senior Dewi Claire Schreefel fired a team-best 72 to lead the No. 4 USC women's golf team in the final round of the first event of the 2007-2008 fall schedule at the Mason Rudolph Women's Championship on Sunday (Sept. 16) at the Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tenn.

USC posted its second 291 of the event to finish tied for sixth at 13-over 877 (291-295-291). UCLA won the team title at 851.

Mozo finished with an even 216 (74-69-73) to tie four others in 10th. A double bogey on the 4th hole is all that spoiled the front 9. She knocked in three birdies during a 2-under back 9 to earn the top 10 finish.

Schreefel moved up to a tie for 20th, finishing with a 3-over 219 (71-76-72). Her final round included birdies on the 8th and 17th holes to offset bogeys on the 13th and 14th holes.

Freshman Lizette Salas finished her first USC event tied for 22nd, a steady weekend resulting in a 4-over 220 (73-74-73). She was 3-over after 10 holes, but consecutive birdies on the 14th and 15th holes helped her to a 1-over round.

Freshman Joanne Lee tied for 36th with a 7-over 223 (73-77-73), her Sunday featuring three birdies.

Senior Paola Moreno rounded out USC's efforts, tying for 52nd at 10-over 226 (76-76-74).
