Pacific-10 Conference Releases 2007-08 Women's Basketball Television Schedule

STANFORD, Calif. - The Stanford women's basketball team will have at least six of its contests televised on Fox Sports Net during the 2007-08 season, the Pacific-10 conference announced Wednesday as it released its women's basketball television schedule. Four of the Cardinal's televised contests will be at Maples Pavilion while a pair of Pac-10 road games will also be aired.
Stanford's non-conference tilts at Maples Pavilion against Baylor (Dec. 16) and defending national champion Tennessee (Dec. 22) will be televised at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. respectively. Additionally, the Cardinal's two contests each against Pac-10 rivals California and Arizona State will be televised.
Both contests against Arizona State, the first originally scheduled for Jan. 19 in Tempe, has been moved to Sunday, Jan. 20 at 1 p.m., while the game between the Cardinal and Sun Devils at Maples Pavilion, originally scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 14, has been moved to Saturday, Feb. 16 at 1 p.m. Consequently, the original Feb. 16 date with the Arizona Wildcats will now take place Thursday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m.
The Cardinal will now battle California on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 2 p.m., while the Feb. 23 battle in Berkeley is now set for a 1 p.m. tip.
