Farah/Van't Hof Fall In Title Match

Nov. 4, 2007

COLUMBUS, OHIO - USC doubles team Robert Farah / Kaes Van't Hof had their eight-match win streak snapped in the championship match of the prestigious ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Tennis Championships. The Trojan pair came up against the top-seeded Virginia team of Somdev Devvarman/Treat Huey, who had also claimed the All-American doubles crown last month, in today's title match. There, USC enjoyed an early lead before the Virginia pair rallied back and won the match 6-4, 6-4 in Columbus, Ohio.

Farah/Van't Hof had generated eight straight doubles wins together thanks to a championship win in the ITA West Regional and then powering through their next three matches in Columbus beginning with an upset of the third-seeded team in the tournament. Farah/Van't Hof are now 13-3 overall in doubles play this season.

The Trojans now break from competition for the remainder of the year, returning to action in January 2008.
