O'Hara and Buehler Named US Soccer Young Female Athlete Finalists

The accolades keep coming in for Stanford Women's Soccer as sophomore forward Kelley O'Hara and redshirt senior defender Rachel Buehler were named finalists for the US Soccer Young Female Athlete of the Year. The award, which only includes five players nationally, will have an online vote until Friday, Dec. 7.
O'Hara currently has 23 points on the season with nine goals and five assists. In NCAA play, O'Hara has scored a goal against Sacramento State and converted her penalty shot in the shootout victory against California. She was recently named to the All-Pac-10 First Team.
Buehler has led a defense that has produced nine shutouts on the season and has a 0.69 goals-against-average. Buehler is also currently a pool player for the U.S. Women's National team. She was also recently named to the All-Pac-10 First Team.
