San Diego State Midfielder Kraig Chiles Named Pac-10 Men's Soccer Player of the Week

WALNUT CREEK, Calif.-- SAN DIEGO STATE redshirt senior midfielder Kraig Chiles has been named the Pac-10 Men's Soccer Player of the Week for Nov. 13-19, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.
Chiles, from San Diego, Calif., helped the Aztecs go 0-0-2 last weekend as they tied UCLA and Washington to finish out their schedule. Chiles had the game-tying assist on the goal that gave SDSU the 1-1 tie at UCLA. He also had five shots as his team outshot the Bruins, 20-12.
Against the Huskies on Sunday, Chiles scored a goal in the 69th minute to tie the game up for the Aztecs, 1-1. He also recorded a game-high three shots.
Chiles, a co-captain, leads the Aztecs in games started (19), goals (8), points (20), and shots on goal (26).
This is Chiles' third weekly honor and the eighth all-time award for San Diego State.
