Jason Dunford has been named the Division I National Swimmer of the Week, announced collegeswimming.com. Dunford was selected based on his performances from November 13 - November 19 by a panel of collegiate coaches and nominated by coaches, sports information directors, conference representatives and CollegeSwimming.com staffers.
The No. 3 Stanford men's swim team captured their fifth straight Nike Cup Saturday evening with a final score of 1,965 points. BYU (1002) and Air Force (847) took second and third, but it was all Cardinal, as they continued to stack win after win.

Individually he took second in the 50 freestyle (19.89). He turned in an NCAA A-cut time on his way to winning the 100 butterfly (46.90). On the final day Dunford took second in the 100 freestyle (43.82) to cap off an impressive meet.
