STANFORD, Calif. (AP) - Anthony Goods scored 14 points and Robin Lopez added 13 points and blocked five shots, and Stanford beat Sacramento State 84-58 on Tuesday night.

Taj Finger added 11 points and a team-high seven rebounds for the Cardinal (7-1), who improved to 6-0 at home. Stanford's last 11 victories have been by double figures and by an average of 25.8. Fred Washington had 10 points, six rebounds, four assists and five steals.

Loren Leath scored 14 points to lead the Hornets (1-6), who lost their fifth straight overall and their last 11 road games dating to last year. Don Thomas added 11 points.

Lopez blocked a shot early in the second half to move past NBA star Josh Childress into fifth on the Stanford all-time list with 97 blocks. He reached the milestone in his 39th career contest.

The Hornets have been decimated by injuries, and are down to one healthy point guard in true freshman Vinnie McGhee, who has logged over 30 minutes a game.

McGhee and Clark Woods nailed early 3-pointers for Sacramento State, which has made at least one long-range shot in 383 consecutive games.

The Cardinal outscored the Hornets 22-7 in the opening minutes of the second half to put the game out of reach as both coaches maximized their benches throughout the contest.

The Cardinal, who lead the Pac-10 with a plus 12.2 rebounding margin, had a 40-31 advantage over the Hornets.

Stanford scored the game's first seven points and never trailed. The Cardinal, who shot over 53 percent, eventually led by as many as 22 points in the first half.

The Hornets, who missed 23 of their first 32 shots, outscored Stanford 10-5 in the final four minutes to draw within 42-25 by halftime.
