ASU Falls To Nebraska In Lincoln, 62-47

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -- Ade Dagunduro had 15 points to lead Nebraska, which held Arizona State to one field goal in 19:30 to pull away to a 62-47 win on Sunday.
Nebraska (5-1) trailed 21-14 after Jerren Shipp's 3-pointer for Arizona State (4-2) with 8:31 remaining in the first half. But the Sun Devils didn't score again for the rest of the half.
The Huskers led 30-21 at intermission and continued their defensive pressure in the second half. Arizona State got just one field goal in the first 11 minutes of the second period.
In that stretch, Nebraska expanded the lead, going up 20 on Dagunduro's jumper with 13:05 and taking a 54-28 lead on Steve Harley's basket with 9 minutes left.
The Sun Devils were able to chip away at the Nebraska lead, but only cut it to less than 20 in the final minute.
The Huskers forced 19 Arizona State turnovers, 13 of them in the first half. The Sun Devils shot 42 percent for the game, but missed nine of their first 10 shots in the second half.
Nebraska wasn't much better from the field, hitting 44 percent of its shots. But the Sun Devil turnovers and 10 offensive rebounds gave the Huskers 14 more shots than Arizona State, resulting in seven more field goals.
Aleks Maric and Ryan Anderson added 14 points each for Nebraska.
