Stanford Announces 2007 Team Awards At Annual Banquet

Stanford, Calif. - Stanford Football announced its 2007 team awards at its annual season-ending banquet held in McCaw Hall at the Arrillaga Alumni Center on Saturday evening. Mark Bradford was named the team's Most Valuable Player (Irving S. Zeimer Memorial Award). Bradford recorded career-bests of 51 receptions and 642 receiving yards in 2007 to finish his career fourth all-time at Stanford in receiving yards (2431) and fifth in receptions (169). He also had three of his 14 career TD receptions in 2007, including one that was one of the biggest moments in Stanford Football history that gave Stanford a stunning 24-23 win over No. 1/No. 2 USC. Bradford also took home the Jim Reynolds Award given to the senior player whose courage on the field and devotion to the game are an inspiration to all.

A complete listing of 2007 Stanford Football team award winners and a brief description of each award is listed below. Stanford was 4-8 overall and 3-6 in the Pac-10 in 2007 during a season that was highlighted by victories over both USC and California in the Big Game to end five-game losing streaks to both clubs.
