The California Golden Bears, sitting in sole possession of first place in the Pac-10 with a perfect 6-0 record, travel to play Arizona State, also unblemished at 5-0 and in second place in the league standings ... The Sun Devils have a four-game winning streak against the Bears, but the all-time series is tied at 22-22 ... The last time that Cal went into Tempe and came out with a win was during the 1998-99 season when they defeated ASU, 67-63 on the Sun Devils' home court ... Cal's last defeat over Arizona State was in 2005-06 in Berkeley (66-64) ... ASU went 3-0 against Cal last season, including a 60-53 win over the Bears in the semifinals of the Pac-10 Tournament.
