Zalameda Moves into Singles Final at NCTC

Indian Wells, Calif. - UCLA's Jeremy Drean and Michael Look booked a spot in Sunday's men's doubles final, while Riza Zalameda earned her place in the championship match of the women's singles draw at the National Collegiate Tennis Classic on Saturday.
Drean and Look defeated San Diego State's Andre Feliz/Juan Gomez, 8-6 in the semifinals on Saturday. They will face another San Diego State team, Achim Ceban and Bartosz Golas, in the championship match on Sunday.
Drean also nearly reached the singles final, however he dropped a 6-3, 7-6(3) decision to Bruno Rosa of Rice in the semifinals.
In women's singles action, Zalameda battled back from a set down to defeat teammate Andrea Remynse, 2-6, 6-0, 6-4 in Saturday's semifinals. She will meet Stanford's Carolyn McVeigh in Sunday's final.
Zalameda and teammate Tracy Lin are also still alive in the women's doubles draw, as they are scheduled to face Stanford's Lindsey Burdette and McVeigh in the semifinals on Sunday morning.
