TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Jerryd Bayless scored 26 points and Chase Budinger added 25 in an Arizona display of sharpshooting that led to an 84-69 defeat of Washington on Saturday.
Arizona (14-6, 4-3 Pac-10) shot 62 percent (28-of-45) overall and was 13-of-22 from 3-point range, 9-of-14 in the second half.
Arizona scored the last eight points of the first half to go up by 13, then turned the game into a rout with its avalanche of 3-pointers in the second half.
The Wildcats shot 70 percent from the field (16-of-23) and 9-of-10 from the free throw line to take a 45-32 halftime lead. Hill had 13 points, seven rebounds and three blocked shots in the first half.
Twenty-one fouls were called in the first half. Brockman got his second just 4 1/2 minutes into the game and sat out 9 minutes of the half.
