TEMPE, Ariz. The Arizona State Sun Devils will continue their sping 2008 home duel campaign this weekend as they host the 38th-ranked Long Beach State University 49ers. They face the 49ers Saturday at noon in Tempe at ASU's Whiteman Tennis Center.

Last time out saw the Sun Devils come out swinging as they looked practically flawless compiling two more 7-0 wins over #32 FIU and Houston in Tempe.

The Dish on the 49ersLong Beach State rolls into town this weekend with an 3-3 record with wins over San Diego State, Cal State Fullerton and San Deigo. Though the 49ers have a relatively young team with four freshman, they also return strong seniors Stephanie Bengson and Emmanuelle Tabatruong to lead the team as well as juniors Hannah Grady and Jessica Weeks.

Series HistoryAgainst the 49ers, the Sun Devils are 1-0 with their last meetingcoming in 1999 where the Sun Devils topped LBS 9-0 on February11 at home in Tempe.

Up NextThe Sun Devils will remain home again to open Pac-10 play next weekendas they set to host conference foes UCLA and USC on Feb. 22 & 23 at1:30 p.m. and noon at ASU's Whiteman Tennis Center in Tempe.
