'This is a great honor for our team and for Stanford University,' head coach Peter Tegen said. 'I am very proud to work with such an exceptionally dedicated group on a daily basis.'

The Stanford men were also honored as an All-Academic Cross Country Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The men carried a 3.32 team GPA and finished 19th at the national meet this season.
