Eichenseer Takes Second In Pac-10 3-Meter

Stanford men's diving got underway at the Pac-10 Diving Championships from Federal Way, Wash. with the 3-meter competition. Stanford fared well with Brent Eichenseer placing second and Nathan Kim finishing fourth. The duo puts Stanford in good position at the 2008 Pac-10 Swimming and Diving Championships. While the diving takes places this weekend, the swimming will not begin until next Wednesday, March 5 and continue until Saturday March 8.
Eichenseer finished the finals with a score of 365.85 for his second place finish. Arizona State diver Mickey Benedetti took the Pac-10 3-meter title with a score of 398.85.
Kim was fourth with a score of 335.85 after finishing third in the prelims. Ben Grado of Arizona managed to move past Kim in the finals and finished third with a score of 353.15.
The Stanford divers will be back in the pool tomorrow for the 1-meter competition. The prelims will take place at 11:00 a.m. and the finals at 4:45 p.m.
