Abegg Travels to England with U-23 National Team

Marisa Abegg and the rest of the U-23 National Team will face the England U-23 Women's National Team in two matches in Manchester, England, as the oldest of the USA's youth National Team travels to the U.K. from March 7-14.
U.S. head coach Bill Irwin will bring Abegg and 17 other players to England for matches on May 12 and May 14. This will be the second international trip of the year for the U-23s, who traveled to La Manga, Spain in February where they played U-23 sides from England (loss), Norway (win) and Germany (tie). The USA will be looking to avenge the 3-1 loss to England suffered in Spain. Irwin is preparing the team for the 2008 Nordic Cup to be held this summer in Sweden.
