Oklahoma City, Okla. - Meg Hostage continued her strong showing at her first NCAA Zone E Diving Championships by finishing second in the 3-meter event on Friday. Hostage, a winner in the 1-meter on Friday, scored 602.45 points and placed only behind winner Marisa Samaniego of UCLA (632.15).

'I'm really pleased with Meg,' said Stanford head coach Dr. Rick Schavone. 'She is only a freshman and to dive at this level under the pressure has been amazing. It will be fun to see what she can do at NCAA's.'

The three-day meet concludes Saturday with the platform event (2:30 pm, CT). The official qualifiers for the NCAA Championships (March 20-22 at Columbus, Ohio) will be announced following the conclusion of the meet.
