FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Washington State sophomore Trent Arrivey did not clear a bar in the men's high jump Saturday at the NCAA Div. I Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Randal Tyson Track Center on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville.

Arrivey, from Woodinville, Wash., missed all three attempts at the opening height of 6-feet, 10 1/4 inches (2.09m). Arrivey's lifetime-best jump is 7-1 1/2 (2.17m), achieved last month at the WSU Open II in Pullman. Dusty Jonas, a senior from Nebraska, won the event after clearing 7-7 (2.31m).

Cougar freshman Ebba Jungmark won the women's high jump championship Friday with an indoor lifetime-best height of 6-feet, 2 1/4 inches (1.89m). Jungmark's 10 points placed the WSU women's team in a four-way tie for 17th place. Arizona State won both the women's and men's team titles.

The Washington State men's and women's track and field teams begin the outdoor season next week in Los Angeles at the USC Trojan Invitational.
