That morning, youth ages 12-and-under can participate in the popular Husky Football Experience, a clinic presented by the Washington Husky football players and coaches. And, finally, the baseball team will play nationally-ranked UCLA beginning at 2 p.m. at Husky Ballpark.
The Husky volleyball team finished the 2007 season 27-4 and ranked No. 10 in the nation. Among the returners are middle blocker Jessica Swarbrick and libero Tamari Miyashiro. Swarbrick was a Second Team American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-America pick last year, while Miyashiro was a third team honoree as well as being named the Asics/Volleyball Magazine Defensive Player of the Year.
