Guzy's home run, her first of the year, came with one out and runners on first and second. She hit a 1-0 pitch into the right field stands to put the Beavers up 5-3.
The Huskies fall to 22-10-1 and 1-1 in the Pac-10, while Oregon State is now 22-16 and 1-2 in Pac-10 play.
Washington brought the tying run to the plate after Alicia Blake doubled to left field with two outs. Blake moved up to third on a wild pitch, but OSU relief pitcher Kelly Dyer got a strikeout for the final out of the game.
Oregon State took a 2-0 lead in the top of the second before Washington responded in the bottom half of the inning on a solo home run by Morgan Stuart, her sixth of the season.
The Huskies tacked on two more runs in the third on back-to-back RBI-singles by Jace Williams and Stuart to lead 3-2. Williams' hit brought home Bailey Stenson, while Stuart's hit scored Marnie Koziol.
Aleah Macon (11-5) took the loss in relief after giving up six hits, three runs ¬- all of which were earned - and three walks. She struck out 10 in five and two-third innings.
