After stealing second base, Babineau moved to third on a bunt single by second baseman Niko Gallego. A fielder's choice by left fielder Alden Carrithers plated Babineau.
Stanford added its fourth run of the evening in the top of the eighth. Shortstop Jake Schlander reached second base on a fielding error by right fielder Chris Giovinazzo. With one out, Phelps followed with a single up the middle to drive home Schlander.
