UCLA Rowing to Face USC in Annual Dual Meet on Saturday, May 3

LOS ANGELES - The UCLA women's rowing team returns to action against crosstown rival USC on Saturday, May 3, in San Pedro, Calif. This weekend's race marks the final competition for UCLA before the Pacific Coast Rowing Championships and Pac-10 Championships in two weeks.
Saturday's dual meet against the Women of Troy begins at 8:30 a.m. with the varsity four race. The second varsity eight race takes to the water at 8:50 a.m., and the varsity eight crews will compete at 9:10 a.m. The morning's events conclude with the novice eight race at 9:30 a.m.
The dual race winner is determined by a point system similar to that used at the annual Pac-10 Championships. Three points are awarded to the varsity eight winner, two to the JV eight winner and one point each to the winners of the varsity four and novice eight races for total of seven possible points.
