NCAA Women's Tennis First Round Coverage: Texas A&M, Washington Underway

STANFORD, Calif.- NCAA women's tennis first round action is underway this morning at the Taube Family Tennis Stadium, one of 16 regional sites around the country.
The action begins with No. 31 Texas A&M (16-8, 9-2 Big 12) battling No. 38 Washington (12-9, 2-6 Pac-10) at 10 a.m. Three hours later, No. 4 Stanford (19-4, 7-1 Pac-10) hosts unranked Boston University (11-7, 2-0 Ameria East). Making its 27th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance, the Cardinal has been tabbed as the No. 4 overall seed in this year's draw.
First up though its Aggies vs. Huskies. Texas A&M owns a 1-0 lead in the all-time series, winning 8-1 in the only meeting back in 1984. Both teams are looking to right the ship, having entered the postseason with a loss in their most recent match.
