USC Shortstop Grant Green Earns All-Pac-10 Honors

LOS ANGELES -- USC shortstop Grant Green was named to the 2008 All-Pac-10 Conference Team, commissioner Tom Hansen announced today. Green led the Trojans with a .390 batting average this season (80-for-205) and nine home runs. He recorded 15 doubles, five triples, 46 RBI and 10 stolen bases.

This season, Green became USC's career leader in triples and now has 15 total three-baggers (passing the previous record of 13).

Eight other Trojans received honorable mention recognition: outfielder Nick Buss, pitcher Ryan Cook, pitcher Kevin Couture, outfielder Roberto Lopez, pitcher Tommy Milone, first baseman Derek Perren, catcher/pitcher Robert Stock and outfielder/pitcher Anthony Vasquez.
