Former Husky Friberg Concludes Play at U.S. Open

Edina, Minn. - Former Husky Louise Friberg wrapped up play at the 2008 U.S. Women's Open at Interlachen Country Club, Sunday, carding a final-round score of 6-over 79 to finish in a tie for 53rd.

Friberg, a rookie on the LPGA Tour, ended the tournament at 9-over 301 (69-74-79-79). Friberg's final round effort included six bogies and one double-bogey but she concluded the round with birdies on the final two holes.
